Elite Screening Solutions is a mobile drug and alcohol testing company serving employers, organizations and individuals throughout North Carolina. We exist because the standard way of doing this quietly costs employers a great deal more than the test itself.
Why we work this way
The clinic model was built for the clinic.
The traditional arrangement asks the employee to stop what they are doing, drive somewhere, wait, be tested, and drive back. It is convenient for the collection site and expensive for everyone else. For a small employer, a single pre-employment test can consume most of a morning across two people.
Reversing that is not complicated. It just requires a collector willing to drive, equipped to run a compliant collection in an ordinary restroom, and disciplined enough that the procedure does not slip because the setting is informal.
That last part is the one that matters. Working on site is not an excuse to work loosely. The identity check, the temperature reading inside four minutes, the seals signed by the donor, the form completed properly, the tamper evident bag: all of it happens exactly as it would in a fixed facility, because a collection that cannot survive scrutiny was not worth performing.
What we will tell you
We will tell you when a test does not answer the question you are asking. We will tell you when the panel you have chosen is wrong for your policy. We will tell you when a location is far enough away that a scheduled visit makes more sense than an urgent one. And we will tell you when you should be speaking to an employment attorney rather than to us.
None of that is unusual behaviour. It only seems worth stating because the alternative is so common.

Every collection follows the applicable procedure completely, whether it happens in a clinic or in a yard.

Results go to the people named on the paperwork and nobody else. Employees are not discussed with colleagues.

Nobody is embarrassed, rushed or spoken to badly. Individual dignity is a statutory requirement in this state and a basic one anywhere.

On timing, on cost, on whether we are the right people for the job. Including when the answer is no.

Post-accident situations
If you have had an accident and the testing clock is running, call rather than emailing. FMCSA expects alcohol testing within eight hours and controlled substance testing within thirty two. An email sent at six in the evening does not start anything moving.
