The service every other service here runs on.
This is the whole idea. A qualified collector drives to your location with the supplies, forms and equipment to run a compliant collection, sets up in a private space you already have, and leaves with sealed specimens ready for the laboratory.
What we need from you
Less than most people expect.
A private restroom, or a restroom that can be made private for the duration. A small table or desk nearby for the paperwork. A quiet space where an employee can complete forms without an audience.
That is genuinely it. We bring the collection containers, the seals, the temperature strips, the federal chain of custody forms, the tamper evident transport bags and the bluing agent for the bowl.
For a whole crew collection, tell us roughly how many people and we will allow enough time. A run of fourteen collections is a comfortable morning, not an all day project.

Privacy is a requirement, not a courtesy
Collections are performed under conditions that protect the employee's dignity and privacy. North Carolina law requires it in terms, and Part 40 builds the same principle into the federal procedure. Nobody is asked to do anything in a space that would embarrass them.
Problem collections
What happens when a specimen is not straightforward.
These situations are routine and the procedure for each is written down. What matters is that the collector follows it rather than improvising.
- Insufficient volume. If the specimen is under 45 mL, shy bladder procedures apply. The insufficient specimen is discarded and the employee is given a further opportunity within a defined period.
- Temperature out of range. Documented on the form immediately, and a new collection is taken under direct observation.
- Signs of tampering. Recorded in the remarks section and reported to your designated employer representative, who decides whether it amounts to a refusal.
- Employee declines. We document the circumstances precisely and hand it back to you. Whether it is a refusal is your determination, not ours.
